HI! I’M NATALIE
Hi, I’m Natalie! I’m a marketing and management student at Tulane University, originally from Athens, Georgia. I've always been passionate about creativity, fashion, branding, and storytelling. I’m drawn to DIY projects and bold self-expression, always looking for new ways to make ideas tangible.
My interest in design took off during my senior year of high school when I served as Co-Editor-in-Chief of my school’s Literary-Art Magazine. Our team curated student art and compiled it into an annual magazine, bringing it to life through a unifying creative theme and distinct subsections. As I designed each layout to complement the artwork, I became confident using platforms like InDesign and Photoshop and even had the chance to present my ideas and design tips at national journalism conferences. This experience solidified my passion for project management, leadership, and creative expression through design. So when I arrived at Tulane, I knew I wanted to expand my understanding of business and people management.
As a business student, I immersed myself in the numbers and strategy behind business—something I’ve always valued. But over time, I found myself craving the hands-on creativity I had in high school. Believing that personal style is its own form of art, I channeled that passion into Ripps & Sews, my campus-based alteration and upcycling business, where I transform thrifted fabrics into one-of-a-kind pieces.
While exploring my creative side, I also built my professional experience. After interning at Hasbro Inc., I spent this past summer in Strategic Channels at Ulta Beauty, working on marketing strategy, consumer engagement, and partnership initiatives for Ulta Beauty at Target.
Now, I’m looking for opportunities in consumer goods marketing, brand strategy, and creative direction—where I can bring together my eye for design, strategic mindset, and love for sustainability to create something exciting.
